Downtown
Pleasant Hill opened in 2000 and is a mixed-use shopping center built
on 28 acres in the heart of Pleasant Hill, California. This pedestrian
oriented center is anchored by Century Theatres featuring 16 screens and
stadium style seating, Lucky, Ross Dress For Less, Border’s Books
& Music, Bed, Bath & Beyond, and Michaels Arts &Crafts! The
shopping center is the only “downtown project” in the San
Francisco Bay area with major freeway visibility and access.
Downtown Pleasant Hill has become a landmark
of the community and visitors will find this a wonderful place to shop,
gather and stroll within the city limits and enjoy a diverse shopping
experience ranging from small merchants to national retail chains. The
City Hall complex is located directly across the street making the area
the center of business for Pleasant Hill. More than a quarter million
people live within a five mile radius of Downtown Pleasant Hill.
